I was in a pensive mood for a while today I needed something to cheer me up.. So I turned my mind back to when I was working at the Automobile Association as an Emergency Services Call Handler back in the day when we were Telephonic and before we really were alleged to be The Fourth Emergency Service apologies to any Coast Guards out there but the Automobile Associations arrogance has always known no bounds!.... Anyway I digress, here is an anecdote of mine for those of you with strong stomachs & potentially those with weaker ones as well its funny.... :) I was yesterday reminded of an incident which occurred when I was working in an Automobile Association call centre; Company policy had just changed on operator availability, as a result we were being given the runaround. It was little less than corporate bullying enforced by our supervisor whose nickname was Miss Whiplash, (I think that describes her adequately) she had insisted several times in interrogating me across a busy comms room floor at the top of her voice. This was intended I believe to intimidate and cow me into embarrassment and submission. Eventually even with my slow burn fuse, I had taken enough it was time to strike back.... Sure enough across the office at the top of her voice came... Where have you been John & exactly what has taken you this long to return? Fair question deserves a response here goes at the top of my voice and across the aforesaid room... Its like this Tracy Ive been for a shit, Id have been back much sooner but it was very messy, very sticky, very smelly diarrhoea unfortunately it it is NOT the easiest washroom to use to clean up - Sorry. Safe to say she NEVER quizzed me at full pitch again, in fact she seemed reluctant to question me ever again - I cannot imagine why? :) :P :)
