I was in my element this AM. The air was crisp--nippy, even. The winds; yes--pluralized. The winds were whipping, swirling, breezing & lingering. Of course, y’all know I carry my own heat, right? So I entered the arena wearing knee length shorts & an over-sized cotton t-shirt. It doesn’t matter how cold it is outside, my body when in motion, will generate enough heat 2 diffuse most wintry games. At first--when I stepped outside, I questioned my sanity. “Ain’t no way UR gonna make this” I snorted. But my inner voice dissuade & convinced. So off I went. & true 2 my nature, within blocks, I was already warming up. At half a mile, I was grinning 2 beat the band. I was sucking it all in. The chill factor no longer a threat, I found myself invigorated. I loved it--so much that I went an extra distant. I almost felt like Snoopying!. NTL…although I was delightfully giddy, I managed 2 pull in the reigns; concluded my regiment & headed home…WINNING!
