I was in the mood for some good ol chili today. So this morning I brown the meat, added the homemade salsa and the home grown canned tomatoes, and the spices that make it taste like Austin style chili. I let it simmer for hours, then let it rest for hours. Taste tested a good 6 hours into it and it was perfect. I added a couple cans of beans and re-simmered. I saved my chili treat for after my workout so I could really enjoy it. And I did. Completely forgot that anything with peppers in it makes me super sick for hours and hours.
