I was just asked to be a guest blogger which will be featured on The PBA Film Project blog about a documentary about people living with PseudoBulbar Affect (PBA), a condition marked by frequent, uncontrollable outburst of laughing or crying due to certain neurologic conditions or brain trauma. A lot of stroke survivors have it. Anyways since I have a big stroke following, they want me to interview the filmmaking team and share it on my blog. It should be a great way for people to learn more about the invisible illness that disguises itself as depression. The PBA Film Project is being directed by Doug Blush and Lisa Klein, the award-winning team behind OF TWO MINDS (2012) -- the documentary that put a human face to bipolar disorder. Julian Cautherley, the film’s producer, most recently produced the award-winning, Emmy-nominated documentary THE CRASH REEL (2013), which follows the dramatic fall and rise of snowboarder Kevin Pearce, a traumatic brain injury survivor.
