I was just reading a chapter from a book called Heaven is Real by Don Piper, who first wrote the best seller, 90 Minutes In Heaven. The book was a gift to my Mom from a friend that had been featured in chapter 16 as he & his daughter were in a tragic jet ski accident & the 15 yr old daughter had massive injuries & a very hard time recovering. The dad had read Don Pipers 1st book & contacted him to please come offer his daughter some encouragement that might help in her recovery. He graciously came to visit her at Hermann Hospital. The author talked about how the LORD had turned his own mess into a message & The LORD has done the same for this young girl as her mess has also become a message she shares to encourage others. Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. (Jeremiah 17:14) We can go thru some very painful times in our lives & not have a clue how it will unfold, but as believers we can know that He knows the end before the beginning & that His plans for us are good & that He is our Healer & Savior. Whatever wounds or diseases we find to be in our heart & mind, our conscience & soul & physical body, we can appeal to the LORD to heal us & to save us, that our souls & lives may praise & glorify Him. His hands can bind up the troubled conscience & heal the broken heart. He can cure the worst diseases of our human nature. Sin is disease & healing is the forgiveness of it & only The LORD can perform this. No one is saved except by The Lord & those that are saved by Him are saved to a purpose. He has no problem turning our mess into a message when we surrender them to Him. But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. Psalm 13:5 ~ Goodnite fb ❤️
