I was just reading some of the comments on the News Channel 5 snowbird report about school closings in Tennessee. Some people agreed, some were stupid enough to say that the kids were being spoiled because of it. I was just outside with the dogs, about 10 minutes at best. I had on an overcoat, boots, hat, gloves, and a scarf tied around my face. When I came in, everything felt like I had frostbite! Nobody needs to be outside in this unless ABSOLUTELY necessary! I would hate to think that even ONE child is out there in the morning without proper clothes, which Im pretty sure will happen. I would rather them have to go to school during spring break than take any chances with kids at the bus stops or one breaking down, but thats just my opinion.
