I was just traveling from Jefferson towards Seven Valleys behind a lead truck with a combine head, a combine, and tractor with a grain cart. As soon as I got behind them, my blood began to BOIL!! This equipment is taking up 3/4 of the road and nearly ALL of the vehicles coming the opposite direction made absolutely no attempt to get out of the way! Ive seen it before when helping to move equipment but it still makes me mad. When I didnt think it could get worse, we come to the already bad intersection in SV. The lead truck pulls out so that traffic in the opposite direction stops to let the equipment pull out, but a car next to the combine decides to pull out and nearly gets run over by the combine. Next, the tractor, but no .. the lady in the Jeep must have felt she could actually get somewhere and nearly is made into a pancake by the tractor. Seriously people???? It infuriates me that you city slickers want to live in the country but refuse to have a shred of decency to the people who make a living off of this land and may inconvenience your speed limit for a short period of time. Go back to the city where you belong, because I just watched multiple accidents avoided by inches because of farmer operating that equipment. Be glad it wasnt me driving, the outcome wouldnt have been so pretty. Rant over!
