I was looking for a good quote for our Law Firm Facebook page about Lawyers and found that the majority of the ones I read were negative. Some were about how an attorney would make a case out of anything, or how attorneys are shady and unethical. I have no doubts that many of these quotes are true,but I can say for sure that I know at least one attorney who is none of those things. I have been working with Tim Shaw Attorney at Law for four months now. We do not have the fanciest office in town, nor are we a high profile firm. We do have a fine Christian attorney who wants to see the common man succeed. Tim will meet with a prospective divorce client and never fails to ask them or encourage them to try and make the marriage work. Tim is always willing to work with clients to make his services affordable; he makes time to meet with people when it is convenient for them. He will go out of his way to make sure his client knows someone is on their side. People may mistake his laid back demeanor for a lack of knowledge, when in fact he is one of the smartest people I have ever met. Tim is a perfectionist and expects the same from others. I learn something new from him everyday. Yesterday I was afraid of someone breaking in to the office while I am here alone. Tim calmed my nerves, and made time to teach me some self defense moves. (I was impressed, and pretty sure I can take the bad guys down now). All this is to say that God places people on this earth for a reason. Tim has a servants heart and even though I would be the first to admit he can be a pain in the butt; he is a caring attorney, a great father, a good son and has always been a friend to me, I admire him more everyday.
