I was never a viewer of CID, least of all a fan! When the show came my way, I took almost a month to make up my mind. I spoke to my wife, an actor friend, a filmmaker friend, a friend at SONY, even my dermatologist! We had a lot of ‘for’ and ‘against’ talk. One argument that comes to my mind was that an important yardstick for measuring success would be Longevity, or Sustenance…and no TV show signifies that better than CID. In its 16th year, today, CID completes 1000 episodes! For a show that has, for most of its run, been a one hour weekly, that’s no mean feat! I’m proud that by being a part of 130 odd episodes, I’ve made my own little contribution
