I was never so glad to leave work today! There was an accident on I 35 which had traffic backed up for 12 hours! That Interstate is right along side of where I work and it was non stop busy! Busy I dont mind, at all! I wish it was that busy all the time...but here is my rant... Folks when you are traveling, you are very likely to get stuck in traffic due to construction, an unfortunate accident or any number of reasons, and I know that when you finally can get out of that mess to finally get gas, or something to eat & the all important restroom break, please keep these few things in mind when you reach that place. The people at that store are trying to do the very best they can to accommodate your needs, from fast, friendly service, to trying to keep the restrooms cleaned & stocked with toilet paper & paper towels. We realize that youve been stuck in traffic, your tired, hungry, gotta use the bathroom, frustrated etc... but is it necessary to be rude, obnoxious, demanding, trash the bathrooms for the next person, cuss at the employees and rudely interrupt them while waiting on their paying customers just because your day is shot to hell & I need to get around this mess! Take a moment to realize that everyone is in the same mess.. take a moment to be thankful that you had a place to take a break from it all, take a moment to be thankful that your stuck in traffic & not involved in what caused the mess. Take a moment to appreciate the courtesy that is shown to you at the place where you got to take that potty break, get something to eat, stretch your legs & refuel your car. It is not our fault your in the mess you are in, so please remember to be grateful instead of hateful.. OK?! Ohhh, and by the way... the dumbest question to ask an employee absolutely, 100% without a doubt is....Do you know where the bathroom is?! By the end of the day, I REALLY, REALLY, REEAALLLY wanted to say...NOOO!! They havent told me yet, but if you find it, could ya let me know?! I REALLY GOTTA PEE!!! End of rant... LOL
