I was nominated to do the 5 day gratitude challenge by Ashley! Here is day 1: 1. I am thankful that I live in Omaha where I am surrounded by people who understand and support the animal welfare work of the Humane society and rescues. I just came from meeting a dog that most other shelters would have killed based on what they had to go on...not here ...not only will this dogs life be spared, but the humane society is accommodating my needs and the rescues needs for the sake of this dog. 2. I am thankful for my husband. He is my rock, my friend, my inspiration. I couldnt do what I do without him. He is the better half of me. 3.
