I was not planning a Gisèle update today. The morning was uneventful She got up with my wife but did not want to do her business in the run instead she held it until walk time, the walk was uneventful we met a couple of neighbours but no true contact she used me as a buffer. I was running behind this morning and I knew I would be busy as my peer manager had stated his vacation today. After work when I arrived home the Garage door was open because my wife had been working in the yard so I entered via the garage, I called for the dogs and all of them bounded down the stairs to meet me at the garage door. I did not expect to see Gisèle so happy to see me she was bouncing more than Ringo, bouncing spinning poking and slapping me I think I may have surprised her using a different door. Even Paulene was surprised at the excitement and happiness this girl was pouring out. I had brought home take out so dinner was quick and Paulene took the dogs for the evening walk. After the walk the dogs had dinner and then I took Ringo out for one of his favourite pass times, I grabbed 2 squeaky tennis balls and invited Gisèle to join us in the run to play ball. At first Gisèle was a bit afraid of the noise and excitement of Ringo chasing the tennis ball. But in no time at all the curiosity got the better of her as Ringo dropped the first ball to chase the second one I launched off into the distance she sniffed it picked it up but dropped it immediately as Ringo came bolting back squeaking his latest retrieval. I picked up the loose ball to launch it off in a different direction and Gisèle started to run circles around the yard. Boy oh boy can this girl run she was happy and running I do not know why as she was not after the ball just doing laps at full tilt. I think she found her inner poodle puppy today and this makes me so happy. As much as I loved the quiet well mannered house guest to see her play and bounce that made my day. I may not do any more updates for a few days as I plan to be busy this weekend with visits of family and friends and a transport for another rescue because I am already out in the area. Sunday afternoon Gisèle has a photo shoot by the most talented Paula Bund and she will post the her works of art in the Next couple of days Ringo wishes every one a happy Canada day weekend
