I was on Ebens Hearth Restaurant, FB page and read comments from people who have had a not so nice comment , Jesse Vanleuven, Kim Bell, Joseph Scott Venuti and Scott Newcombe, may I suggest that you call ahead and be put on the preferred seating list which every person at Ebens Hearth Restaurant knows and tells everyone who calls. Which is we do not take reservations but we do preferred seating, if there is a waiting list when your party arrives you will be put at the top of the list. Let me also say that when the colleges are in session Ebens Hearth Restaurant is a very busy place on the week-end and especially when Clarkson is playing hockey and I am going to assume that is when you can in. I may be wrong but do any of you work at the Smokehouse in Madrid, New York. If you work in the business then you should know what it is like when it is busy. Let me also say that when you walk in to any restaurant with 15 people and want to sit together without a preferred seating time, become rude because you can not sit together, what would you like them to do. my guess is that the staff did the best that they could do under the situation which was not good enough for you. So please be a little bit more patience and understanding. I am sorry that you all did not have a great experience as I have had working at Ebens Hearth Restaurant for 23 years.
