I was on this Idle No More FB website submitted by Gordon Ross. This article disturbed me. Canada is privatizing water. They had million+ lakes & thousands of rivers that were protected and now that protection status changed to cuts of 97% of these lakes & rivers. And the protected waters areas are also where the upper income people live. One of our basic needs to sustain life can now be accidentally contaminated without oversight. We have the same amount of water now that we had at the beginning when the Creator made our world. No more no less. Much of the world is in drought. First Nations and Canadians are against the oil pipelines. So much for being the stewards of the Earth. Reminds me of USA. The Earth is being fracked to death. We have plants of food and the seeds do not reproduce. For gardens buy Heritage Seeds. GMO SALMON?? We need permanently protected water, land, trees, wildlife, birds, animals, the wilderness, people, etc. The fish and crab and other sea creatures are either over fished (that fish in some of the fast food joints does not taste like fish - maybe its GMO fish!), contaminated, and I am not talking about those individual fishing boats who fish to make their living and/or eat. This is the same mentality of those effing slobs around the world who deliberately committed mass murder and waste of buffalo, giraffes, Mountain Gorillas, Wolves, Aboriginal Peoples of the world, etc. to the point where we have to enact laws to make threatened Gods Creatures legally protected but it continues to the point of extinction of entire species. The land is contaminated with God knows what all (what is the percentage of people who WILL get Cancer sometime in their lifetime?) and ruins the food source where the heck are people and animals supposed to go? Man what about some of us people who want to live off the grid? What if the ultimate goal is to privatize everything? It is not a stretch to say that when and not if but when areas of the country run out of clean, uncontaminated water the government could step in and make it happen where those areas who have clean underground drinking water from aquifers would be forced to share to those areas ruined by contaminants. Well you can see where that will go. We need to a have a law that EARTH BE PLACED ON THE ENDANGERED LIST! International Law. We make treaties with other countries... right, United States doesnt have a good track record with agreements with its own indigenous People.
