I was pondering the Parable of the Ten Virgins....and relating it some things Ive seen with women waiting on their promised husbands.... (Allow me to add that EVERYTHING that GOD does has a greater meaning/purpose behind it ).... Lets look at Matthew 25:1-5 “Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. 3 The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, 4 but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. 5 When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. Lets look at the olive oil as FAITH.... All ten went to meet the bridegroom...which showed that they were ALL aware of His coming.... GOD has revealed to many women who their husband is to be.... but not all have enough FAITH to get them through the process of WAITING. Yes many have become tired in their waiting, and have wanted to give up... but FAITH has been the fuel for this mission.... The bridegroom was only DELAYED..... He didnt come as quick as some of the women expected, Thats why they werent PREPARED for the WAIT.... But He came at the APPOINTED TIME.... Ask the Lord to increase your faith as you wait... We know that half of the virgins werent prepared to go when the groom finally showed up.... Ive seen woman get tired of waiting and went out to find someone else, believing GOD just changed His mind.... Are you prepared for your husbands arrival?
