I was pumping gas this afternoon when it started to rain. I was on the outside lane, so the rain was getting on my back. I was already cranky from a day of unfortunate events. Nothing bad, just lots of inconvenient little things that annoyingly went wrong at the same darn time. So I quickly finished up and scurried back to the dryness of my car. Looking to the car ahead of me, I saw the passenger get out with an umbrella to stand with her elderly husband and protect him from the rain. It was just the display of love and kindness that I needed to see today. There is always sunshine after rain. Light after dark. Warmth after cold. Peace after chaos. Keep your eyes and heart open. Keep moving toward the light, and keep trust that its there and waiting for you. ☀️
