I was reminded of this post recently, so I wanted to share it again. Hoping you in-Joy it twice as much the second time around. BE THE SUN WHEN THERE IS NONE. Diamonds are formed deep within the Earth, below the surface, where it is very hot, dark and full of pressure from the weight of the overlying rock bearing down. When we give love to our circumstance, no matter how difficult it may be to do - or appear to be - from the outside or on the surface... when we are surrounded in complete darkness. Go within and find your own light. Focus on your breath, heartbeat and awareness. Feel the life within. BE life. Feel alive. Be the sun when there is none. Light can be found in any thing, any one, any circumstance or situation. Everything that is, has light within it. Even if that light it is just a glimmer of hope. When the light of love penetrates our view of life, we make way for compassion and forgiveness to enter. we make a decision to filter our life through grace. and extraordinary things happen. When the smallest glimmer of light is magnified, when we embrace our own light with our hearts and minds, its reflection starts to dance, shimmy and shake - the light will glow bright and then even brighter - showing its observer gratitude for having been noticed, recognized and appreciated. Look for the light of hope - the ebb and flow of breath - the beat of life thats pulsing through you - by doing so, you will create a symphony of sparkles, flecks and glittery stardust - which will shine as bright as the northern star at twilight.
