I was riding the ctrain lastnight one of the last trains and this intoxicated man got on the train and became aggressive with me. Trying to grab and touch me there were three other men on this train car and they didnt even flinch when my voice raised and told the intoxicated man to leave me alone. They did nothing to help me even though they seen me run through the ctrain car. I got a bruise on my right forearm from where he grabbed me and held on tight. So I kept dodging him until my stop. But while on the ctrain I called a taxi cab to have them waiting for my safety and they refused to book a cab to meet me. Thankfully a man from another car seen me running for safety when I got off the ctrain and he asked me what happened. He stayed with me until the cab came. Then when I was in the cab we were turning through the intersection the cab I was in got rear ended by another vehicle who sped off and this cab driver chased them down. When we got them it turned out they were first nations couple and drinking. Needless to say I am now nursing a tender back and hip. As the impact was more on the side I was sitting on. What a night and I cant believe that everyone of these incidents involved intoxicated first nations people. In a city of over a million with a low visibility of first nations people I am surprised that two incidents had to be with intoxicated first nations people. I was grateful that tye cabbie was conscientious and knew I was not there to create ajy problems and he only charged me 20 to hring me home to the reserve.
