I was shocked and saddened today to learn about the deaths of well established and popular dancers here in London. They were relatively young and from the outside it looked like they had so much to live for. I am not aware of the circumstances of their death so I cannot say more. Goodbye to you Collette (Amira) a talented dancer who was an occasional student of mine many years ago and who I had the odd shared gig with from time to time. She had a well established teaching practice in South London and produced very talented dancers… Farewell to you Ljiljana. One of the most exciting and talented dancers that I have ever seen. It is not often I would parade someone around a Planet Egypt audience , but you deserved it. A shining light with a big heart and a sensitive disposition, very kindly and gentle.
