I was sitting in traffic yesterday afternoon on my way to pick up - TopicsExpress

I was sitting in traffic yesterday afternoon on my way to pick up Emerson from school. There were no kids in the car (a rare occurrence) and I realized I could listen to NPR with impunity. The first words I heard after turning on the radio were And the actor Michael C. Hall knows his way around a graveyard. Ah yes, our former Earlham College classmate turned serious (and now famous) actor. Even though Ive gotten used to seeing Mike on screen, first in Six Feet Under (one of my all-time favorite shows) and then Dexter (which I started and love but havent finished), it was still a bit surreal to hear his voice on NPR. He sounded smart and measured - just like he did 20+ years ago. The interview lasted just long enough for me to get to Emersons school and to get used to hearing Mikes voice on the radio. npr.org/2014/05/22/314925072/for-actor-michael-c-hall-cold-in-july-is-a-departure-of-sorts
