I was stopped for a good 7 seconds or more waiting for the pedestrian to cross James Donlon Blvd. I got nailed by a Big Ass Truck that smashed my little Honda civic. ;( How in the f did they not see me and stop? I can only guess. After they hit me we kept going for quite a distance. I took my foot off my brakes and just started steering. I got the feeling they were not breaking. My car went onto the median and it popped my left front tire. No airbag deployment. I had my seat belt on but it was never a factor. All the force directed me backward and when we stopped it was gradual. I was a little dazed but I remember the radio started playing Paranoid. I went to the Emergency room and they cleared me for combat. Wait, what? Ill double check that but they gave me a shot in the arm that hurt more than the incident. It was worth it. Thank you sir may I have another? My back hurts but Im OK. SLOW DOWN ON DONLON And everywhere else probably.
