I was talking to the coolest cat over the weekend and Tyler Perry was brought up. One of my ATL friends had just told me hes building a second studios in Atlanta to which the cat I was talking to reminded me that Tyler is from here, New Orleans. Why isnt the biggest black movie maker right now not staking a claim in New Orleans, who now films more films than Hollywood, when its his home town. Even during Essence he was posting bullshyt like Glad to be back New Orleans. Havent been home in forever I know what the answer is. The boys are prettier in Atlanta and less likely to kill you, but you would think someone with all that money would sprinkle some into the economy here. Not even to give back, we all know that Grand sissy aint concerned with that, but just because its a good business move.
