I was thinking today about how many people I have met who are - TopicsExpress

I was thinking today about how many people I have met who are waiting for the right time to be baptized. Some of them have been believers for years, are prophesying, and following the Lord with all their hearts. It comes from the wrong understanding of baptism as a graduation ceremony. Baptism is an initiation ceremony, not a graduation ceremony. The enemy has robbed many believers of the blessings of immediate baptism. Some people have told me, I am waiting for the time the Lord wants me to get baptized. But if baptism is an act of immediate obedience to the scriptures and Lords word. What is different than that and saying, I am waiting for the right time to forgive or I am waiting for the right time to love or I am waiting for the right time to repent.?
