I was thinking today about marriage, because I read a beautiful letter from an Indian Bride to her mother ( posted here), and I was thinking how much marriages have changed Now no one takes the time to "Court" get to know one another and plan for a nice marriage and family. Now some get pregnant and then get married, or just live together. I am not judging anyone, but these are facts. My parents were never divorced thank God they had 50 yrs before my mom passed. Marriage vows are not taken so seriously anymore. At least some are not, but it would be beautiful if we could go back and value family and marriage as long ago. Some times we screw up in life and do bad things and wonder why our kids do it, we should reflect on what we taught them at home And yes some times we teach them right and they still go the wrong way. Now I hear kids using the "F" word everywhere as young as 6 yrs old ... if I said the word Hell in my house I would get a belt, much less cursing or back talking. God help me if I had struck one of my parents, I would not be sitting here . But to all that have a great marriage and I know one lady here " Latresa" and maybe others I dont know , God Bless you and your marriage.
