I was touched that instead of hanging up the phone on me, he listened attentively to what I had to say. That was my fair share of “good days” when potential clients who doesn’t know the What? Who? How? (about HalalDeals) responded positively to my calls. Of course there were days that I faced rejection after rejection, which made we went “Should I even continue to make yet ANOTHER phone call and faced ANOTHER rejection?” And frankly speaking I don’t blame them either coz really, who am I that they should even lend ONE second of their time to listen to what I had to say. I am not a well-known figure and neither do HalalDeals. It is the newest “brand” that business owners must have heard. And my name, Lydia, Lydia who? Amidst the long list of calls rejection I encountered, it is by God’s grace I managed to get hold of DIRECT OWNER(S) of the business to get on the phone with me. I did not have to go through “layers” just to speak to the right business owner. Thankfully! And not surprisingly, direct business owners are more supportive of this initiative called HalalDeals and they are the ones who do not mind giving it a shot! It sounded very new yet quite interesting to some since this is a new initiative supporting businesses who deal with Halal food, products or services. To all business owners who participated and believe in HalalDeals right from the beginning, here’s the BIGGEST Thank You! You are the HEART of HalalDeals! :)
