I was trying to figure out why I couldnt load more than 2 rounds into the magazine tube of this Mossberg 500 Im selling, so I took it apart and found this dowel rod and two o-rings jammed inside of the mag tube! Kenny and I chatted and he informed me that this might be a CA model and that the dowel rod limiting the shotgun to 2+1 instead of the 5+1 capacity it was made for, might make it legal in CA. I do not understand the logic of CA gun laws--Im speechless. This gun is for sale BTW--with the dowel rod REMOVED. #facepalm utahgunexchange/ads/mossberg-500-3-in-1-12-gauge-shotgun-for-sale/
