I was up at the house talking to Ann and as I was walking back - TopicsExpress

I was up at the house talking to Ann and as I was walking back home, I walked across the garden. All I could think of was Aunt Lillian working out there shaking sevin dust from an old panty hose onto the plants and then spray cheap perfume around the plants. I immediately started singing In the Garden-which makes me think of her every time I hear that song. I remember empting out the slop bucket, going down to the pasture to get manure for fertilizer, and smelling her roast cook on Sunday mornings all the way at our house. I remember making home maid ice cream with her and hanging out clothes for EVERY load. There are SO many memories that I want to keep alive in my heart for my life and to pass on to my children. She may have not known this but she was a wonderful woman that inspired me to be who I am today-a southern woman-and I love it. I miss her so much and will love her always!
