I was with Georgina , yup, heard an agent speaking proudly that their company is going to announce that they are giving 100% commission. Credit to Georgina who reacted with indignity. Good things dont come cheap, then what about free things? Would this enhance or degenerate the image of realtors? Imagine the environment in an agency like that if it truly happens. Does Harvard need to give free enrollment? What about Mount Elizabeth Hospital providing free consultation? My partner and good friends at Reapfield remained at 80/20 but helped many of his negotiators maintain a high level of success. Many agencies who are confident of themselves and what they offer dont pay CEA renewal fees for their associates but add more value in many ways. Many agents chose to be part of an exclusive group and pay $9000 for training to join a company, they even do not want the company to reduce the fees to enhance recruitment. Then there are many who choose to be in an environment of those who appreciate their organizations and believe that they should render to Cesar what is Cesars. They obviously understand that 100% of nothing is nothing. To all these agents and all those companies, lets maintain a level of standard and dignity and not lower ourselves and let others think that you are cheapskate. Developers, clients and all should also consider what kind of people we are working with.
