I was worried that flying solo to my first wedding post-break up would be a little depressing, but I was wrong. Now that Im over the initial shock and heartache, Im actually really enjoying being single. Dont get me wrong, I still have some lingering bitterness that I cant wait to let go of, but being single is awesome. Its freedom. Its focusing on your relationship with yourself. Im still amazed at all that Ive been able to accomplish on my own these past few months. I can still be overwhelmingly happy for other couples getting engaged or married, without it making me feel bad about being alone. I know that special someone is out there for me, but Im not worried about trying to find him anytime soon. Im having too much fun finding myself right now. If youre single and dont feel that way, then youre doing it wrong.
