I wasnt going to post about this, but Im frustrated. It also makes no sense to me. Ive been back to court with my ex husband for custody five times since our divorce. Things that have been brought up during these hearings include his arrest for possession, he was in a physical fight with his girlfriend, again for possession since he lied about it the first time, my son not being taken to the doctors, my son being put on medication for ADHD instead of actually addressing the issues, not censoring videogames/tv, and so many other things. This most recent time was for school attendance, behavioral issues, and my ex husbands noncompliance with the doctors recommendations. He has been told for over a year by my sons pediatrician that he should be seeing a therapist, and that his medications should be handled by a psychiatrist. My ex husband claims that he took him one time, but the location was inconvenient so he has been back. Meanwhile, Ryans behavior is worsening. When he is with me he doesnt have these issues. He has structure, and rules. My ex is also that much of a drunk junkie that he cant wake up to get him off to school, so his attendance has been horrible. His grades are also horrible. Kindergarten 32 Absences 1st Grade 11 Absences 14.5 Tardies 3 dismissals 1 suspension 2nd Grade (not even half way through the year) 2 Absences 2 Tardies 2 dismissals 2 suspensions Yet again New Hampshire courts have decided that enduring a move would be more harmful than staying with his father. It makes absolutely no sense to me.
