I watch our rescued Podencos and the friendships they form for these 2 girls its so special. Jasira was so ill when she arrived she had no desire to socialize with any of the dogs and to begin would spend much of her day sleeping. Then Lua arrived a very angry Podenca in her previous life she had learnt humans were the enemy. But a friendship began between them... companionship for Jasira and for Lua.. she has totally changed her out look on life. No more does she run away now she greets us with a wag of her tail and is pleased to see us a totally different girl. I dont understand why these strong bonds form, maybe they are kindred spirits and they sense both of them have had a hard life. Both girls are inseparable content in their own company. To begin with Lua was always respectful and slept in her own bed but recently we find them together. The world of rescue can be very tough but moments like this make it all worthwhile
