I watched The Burglar 1957. Really good representation of film noir. I think this was shot as a 3 D movie but cant find that it was released that way. Dan Duryea and Jayne Mansfield (with little make-up) and others had some great direction Peter Wendkos. Lots and lots of smoke, shadows, lights, streets, cheap apartments, dames betraying and betrayed and great shots of carnival rides on the Atlantic City , NJ pier. Train sounds and often muted trumpets every time a dame is shown. Sad ending and more low angle shots. Just everything one could expect in a film noir. Great line How old are ya? 36 Do ya want see 46, 56, 66? Also watched part of a color movie Dragnet that was shot in 3 D but wasnt popular. Interesting angles though. Ben Alexander was Jack Webbs partner in this one. He had been a child actor and later appeared on the first Dragnet series.
