I welcomed the Hon Greg Hunt MP, Minister for the Environment, to Dobell this morning to officially launch the Federal Governments Coastal River Recovery programme. Under this programme $3.3 million is being delivered over the next three years to help improve the water quality of Tuggerah Lakes. The Minister and I inspected the progress of the Canton Beach foreshore restoration project which is being funded from this programme. We are committed to practical work which will directly improve the quality of our Lakes. Thank you to the Minister for taking the time to visit Dobell this morning.
