I went for my oncologist appointment on Tuesday, and here is what I know now: -I had stage 1 appendix cancer -After lots and lots of tests, we will know for sure, but they believe they removed all of the cancer during the surgery Which means .... I HAD AND WAS CURED OF stage 1 appendix cancer all before I knew I even had it! There are some concerns, theyre afraid that during the appendix bursting, it may have spread cancer cells to other parts of my body, but that is why I will be heavily monitored with testing for the next 5-6 years.
