I went into 2014 as a complete mess. I was depressed, on probation, in debt, bussing tables and still grieving over the loss of my grandma. In less than 12 hours it will be a new year, and Ive taken some time to reflect on it all. I played so many shows. Some were at dive bars. A couple were at stadiums. I flew out to Seattle and got a funding deal for my music. I released several music videos. View From The Top got a lot of love from my supporters and the Hip-Hop community. I dropped 3 projects. 2 collaborative, and one solo. My group won Best Of The Best at the Arizona Hip-Hop Awards. I through 2 events of my own with the help of #RespectTheUnderground. We landed a spot hosting/DJing on FM radio every week. I spent many hours in the studio with my cousin, and have tons of great memories. I shook so many hands and made some new friends along the way. On top of it all, I got myself an awesome part time job at Sam Ash. I couldnt have done it without having the great people I have in my corner. They know who they are and they know how much I appreciate them. Instead of letting life kick me in the balls, I turned it around in 2014. Im proud of myself for that. In 2015 Im going to continue traveling down this path. My drive and determination will make it an even better year. Im The Cat That NEVER Came Down, and I hope none of you come down either.
