I went into the local BWS today just sniffing around. There was a sign on the 30 can blocks of XXXX Gold $34.00 or 2 for $72.00. I pointed the anomaly out to the dude and he told me he had given up trying to understand the pricing scheme. There were 5 blocks in the store so I told him I would by them all in 5 separate transactions. $170 later I left w/ 5 blocks even though the till went apoplectic and tried to charge me $38.00/block. Not sure I understand modern economics but I am sure I will see the light once I get into one of the blocks.
