I went out n the boat w/Ma & Dad 2 the Cape yesterday.It was my 1st time n a boat n 3 or more yrs!I had a few scary moments,but come on,who wouldn´t if u had 2 rely on a cain 4 some balance but mainly 2 take as much weight off 1 knee as possible 2 move.Trusting ur balance w/o that cain & having 2 use people 2 help can b scary.Just cause its Daddy thats helping me,& I know he won´t let me fall,it doesn´t make getting n a boat from the dock on low tide feel real safe!Gotta say though,as long as Im n a flat bottom boat w/a front & back anchor & a little step ladder on the back,I can get n & out the boat all I want cause the water is only up 2 my knees where the ladder is,so 1 step up & I can sit down on the boat!I can keep what I need n the boat(cooler,beach bag,chair set up n the stern),& don´t have 2 try 2 walk on the sand 2 get on the beach n a chair where I´d have 2 stay cause I can´t walk thru sand w/a cain so I´d have 2 have help!The best part is I got 2 stay n the water most of the time,& its almost like nothings wrong w/me!I just keep my bad knee floating & remember not 2 try & kick w/it,& I can swim & move anywhere I want.If felt so freeing & like I was normal again,at least 4 a little while!LOL!Now,as soon as my albino skin lets go of the lobster red coloring,I´m gonna try it again!!!
