I went to a community meeting tonight--I usually refuse to go to them and send poor Peter to represent us. Now I remember why. I ended up gone four hours--three for the meeting, the other one getting there and parking and then getting back, a total distance of two miles away, since no place in Santa Monica is more than 2 1/2 miles away, if you go straight there as I did. The meeting was just 40 people talking about how bad things are. I kept saying we on our side of town have been fighting this seven years and it is just spreading, so we need to unite and do something! I really am tired of hearing how many different ways people can say what the problems are. How do you all stand people?
