I went to support the WVU Tennis team against Kansas today............... Here is what I learned: 1) These young ladies are true athletes and hit the ball a lot harder then I imagined and their quick hands make amazing drop shots..... 2) In college tennis, you are permitted to yell and support the team, whereas in high school tennis, you cannot say a thing 3) If you yell hit it to her backhand, a Big XII official will come up to you and chastise you for coaching.....(I guess I better not yell to the quarterback to throw the ball downfield or the Basketball player to drive to the left side of the basket)..... 4) I would only hope more people in Mon County would support the team...All 20 of us had front row seats,,,,,no admission,,,and watched great tennis....... 5) It did get a little confusing as I would yell Go Mounties and the person next to me would yell Go Hawks.....(my high school teams name)
