I went to the Metis celebration talent show in Grouard to watch my nephew Nathan Cunningham sing, and when he sang his song Tie One On it was number #1 awhile back, I found myself crying but they were beautiful tears as I got flashbacks of watching this man on stage and started to remember him as a little white, chubby, bleach blonde, baby boy playing in front of my dads house in Prince George, B.C when it was the first house on Quince st. There was only dirt beside his house and trees. I remember Nathan in his little coveralls playing in the dirt, and Beanie trying to keep him clean and got told to let him be by my dad..hahahahhaha then remembering him Cheekie, deedeeboy, and Brutus running around my dads house at around the age of 3 saying tuck my nine..hahahahaha (Suppose to be suck my nine a saying that only my dad would teach them boys..hahahahha) to becoming a super star on stage. I was so so proud of Nathan and words cannot describe how I felt, but all I can say is Nathan you are well on your way to stardom, fame and fortune and your beautiful voice is an amazing gift from the creator. I was and am so so proud of you..
