I went to the butchers in Barrowford, I was passing and thought I would go in and see if they had anything to tempt me. And they like throwing balls of mince at Lola and seeing her catch them in her mouth! I bought one chicken breast, one thin and not very large piece of braising steak and three pieces of neck of lamb. I thought, oh, this is gonna be about eight pounds. IT WAS ELEVEN! I dont know where they get their prices from and you never get a till roll or even a piece of paper telling you what each item costs. Well, Ill learn not to go there wont I! Mind you, it all looked excellent. Eaten the chicken over two days and just stewing the lamb tonight. Cut up the braising steak and froze it.
