I went to the forum on Wednesday evening, and have to say, after a number of questions presented to our new and existing council candidates, including my own questions regarding public safety for a young family, that only a few of them were able to produce any new ideas that would offer any improvement to our way of life living in this community. What I was looking for was new ideas, but seems that only a couple of our new candidates were able to provide that for me and my family. Needless to say, I am fully aware of our existing programs provided to our youth, which was made evidentally clear during discussion, but I was very dis-pleased, other than from a couple of candidates agendas on improving life for our young people. Hence the old saying the more things change, the more they stay the same...to those of you who presented new ideas during the forum, you have my vote, but to those of you who choose to stay the course,,,well...
