I went to volunteer with hospice finally today. I guess the plans had changed. Shed emailed me my speech and I was supposed to do the presentation. I had just deleted 300+ emails. I never saw it and thought I was just going to watch today. So she handed me the speech when I got there. I did ok with the first gentlemen, screwed it up a bit with the second one and wound up saluting twice, but DeeDee covered for me REALLY well. It was nice. Both gentlemen were really neat people. And the second guys son was at Spangdahlem Germany exactly when I was. We even lived in the same tiny village! I came home, did dishes, had a bowl of cereal (my breakfast) then fell sound asleep till just now. I dont care to read out loud anymore because I still speak too fast but these days I stumble over my tongue. Stupid strokes. I will own that presentation by next time!
