I went to work this morning for my annual skills check-off. Since I wouldnt be taking care of patients, I could wear regular clothes instead of my scrubs. I wore jeans tucked in to black boots, a black button-front shirt, and a maroon sweater/jacket. I was also wearing jewelry and my hair was down instead of pulled back like it is when I go to work normally. One of the girls that I only ever see at work looked at me and said, Dang, girl! You look all snappy! Are you still with your husband? Do you have your eye on somebody? I am not exactly sure how to take this. I could take it as a compliment, I guess. But I do find it strange that just because I was dressed halfway decently, her first thought was that I was on the prowl for a new man!
