I will always miss my Grandpa Joe. I wish I could put into words all the wonderful things he taught and gave me. But Ill try...He had a love for family (6 kids, 20 grandkids, and 9 great grandkids...my family is really good at procreating), country, but one of the biggest lessons he taught me was having a sense of humor even when life hasnt been easy, even when its incredibly sad. Pursuing a career in comedy now feels like it is a way of honoring you and keeping you with me. I can make people laugh and smile, just like you did. Ive been the luckiest to have gotten to spend the time with you I did. I love you. Thank you Pop Pop Joe. Age 89, of Dix Hills, NY (formerly of Pittsburgh, PA and Charlotte, NC). He was promoted to sales in Charlotte, NC in 1960 and rose through the ranks to General Sales Manager for the Eastern US, out of New York. He retired from TWA in 1986. He then worked for the IRS in Hauppauge, NY part-time for many years. Throughout his life he was known for his wonderful sense of humor, telling jokes and stories to any and all who would listen.
