I will delete this in 12 hours because I do not want to keep it. However I thought it was an event worth noting. I have fully supported law enforcement throughout all this chaos, protest and looting, but the law enforcement fraternity needs to use good judgement about things like this that may be funny internally, but ill advised publicly. The LAPD has reportedly launched an internal investigation over the incident in which a song mocking dead Ferguson teen Mike Brown was sung at a retired officers party. The song parodied Bad, Bad Leroy Brown by Jim Croce calling Brown the deadest thug in the whole damn town. TMZ reported that former federal law enforcement officer Gary Fishell performed the song at a dinner hosted by retired LAPD officer Joe Myers. Singing this publicly is like using bellows on a fire.
