I will never again buy/trade a horse without getting the papers at that time!!!!! Seems like a no brainer I know but the deal wasnt done with just anyone, it was someone most people in our area know and respect therefore I trusted that what they said was true and didnt see any future issue! I was told at that time papers should be back from aqha in a week and they would then mail them to me. I asked about them periodically and was told they will be here soon. In June I was told to get updated pics for aqha. I did that and waited some more. Last week I called aqha, still listed under same owner as when I checked in December. AQHA said they have no papers or transfer and nothing pending. I sent another message stating what I found out and no reply! Im very easy to get along with and have been very patient. I would have been ok if there was a issue if I was informed of such. However considering its been 9 months and it seems like the truth hasnt been there I am mad beyond words!!!!!!! Truly cant trust anyone regardless of who they are and how many know and respect them...
