‘I will not visit Nagaland again’ “Its rebirth for me. I have undergone severe physical and mental torture in the lock-up and had almost lost hope on life. I don’t want to go back to Nagaland,” says Gogineni Prateesh Chandra with tears of joy in his eyes. He narrated how on the morning of July 30, the kidnappers informed him that they would release him and he conveyed the same to his parents. Mr. Chandra of Vijayawada and supervisor Ch. Raghavendra Rao of Nuzvid in Krishna district, who were kidnapped by ‘IM group’ there on July 27. The kidnap ended on a happy note after they were released on July 30. They reached their home in the early hours on Friday. Family members of Prateesh and Raghavendra Rao hugged them and their happiness knew no bounds. “We will not send our son to Nagaland again. Andhra Pradesh government, local MPs, Vijayawada Police Commissioner B. Srinivasulu and the media helped us in securing our son’s safe release,” said his parents G.
