I wish to pass my happy birthday wishes to His Excellency the 2nd President of the Republic of Kenya, Daniel T. Arap Moi as he turns 90 today. This is a milestone worth celebrating not just in Kenya but the world over. President Moi is an elder statesman and I salute him for his tremendous contributions to our county, our nation, Africa and beyond. The education and infrastructure development of the people of Baringo is largely attributed to him and I salute him for this immense contribution to us. The advancement of our women is one area I cannot forget to mention and H.E Moi was very instrumental towards it. Personally, and just like many of us, I stand indebted to His Excellency because he played a huge role for me to be where I am today. President Moi exemplifies wisdom, discipline and spiritual uprightness, his story and that of the nation are tied together and it dates back over 60 years into the history of our nation and he still continues to inspire lives everyday. I wish him a happy birthday and may he have many more to come.
