I woke up this morning in a rather decent mood, all things considered. Decided that this day could only get better.... So I went to an NA meeting. Someone I had respected in this meeting totally gave me a shock from hell. This person was bitterly distasteful in his statement of opinion. But I understand. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. The kicker, the utter lack of dignity said person displayed was highly disappointing. So much so, had I not been a member of the program for as long as I have, or- a newcomer..... I would have left and never given NA another thought. I only hope this bitter person can rethink his attitude before some unsuspecting newcomer is lost forever to the horrible disease of addiction. I see the hypocritical tone of my own bitter ranting.... And for that I do apologize. But I so feel a little better getting that out.... Thank You to all who took the time to read this, I know you truly care about me, and thats a feeling that warms my heart....
